Sled Island 2025 Schedule Announcement

The full schedule for Sled Island 2025 is finally here, including comedy, art, special events and conference programming!
On top of all the incredible music this year, we’ve got some amazing Canadian talent in our comedy lineup! Swing by Vern’s on Friday and Saturday night for hilarious stand-up sets from comedians Nathan Hare, Luba Magnus, Tommy Mellor, Mollie Risa, Tamara Shevon, Monica Urribarri and Isabel Zaw-Tun!
Also, we’re very excited to introduce Sled Village, proudly presented by Calgary Downtown Association! Taking place at Haus of SpanicArts (131 6 Ave SW), Sled Village is our new location for Pass Pick-Up, but we’ve transformed it into a space for people to hang out during the festival! There will be a seating area, music, merch, beer, snacks and other bevvies (including a Kaffeeklatsch coffee pop-up), a local art market, festival info, and more.
That’s not all! We’re also hosting a special opening party at Sled Village on Tuesday, June 17! This FREE event was created as a space to meet like-minded people, find new folks to sled with, and get excited for an epic week ahead! Come pick up your festival wristband, bring your friends, and enjoy beer, snacks, DJs, and more! Plus, the party also serves as the opening reception of our annual Sled Island Poster Show, running June 17 – 21 at Sled Village.
Other special events include the Sled Island Drag Brunch, Punk Rock Bingo, Quiz Shoe, a conversation with Estrus Records, the annual Wrap-Up Pig Roast, and more.
Lastly, all conference panels will once again take place in the beautiful Central Library on Friday, June 20. Presented in partnership with Calgary Economic Development, the Sled Island Conference is a free, day-long summit where attendees can learn about recording, finances, touring, self-management, navigating disability, and scoring for the screen.
Passes and tickets are on sale now. A limited number of tickets to newly announced shows and day passes will go on sale this Friday, May 30 at noon MDT.
